The Expedição Barra projects takes you on a ferry ride to the MarapendiLagoon along with biologists and educators that explain the fauna and flora of the region. With regular departures every Sunday, the tour is offered by Ecobalsas – company specialized in aquatic transportation – and it aims to foster an environmental conscience and interest in nature. For approximately an hour, the visitors can explore the local ecosystem and see alligators, various species of birds and fishes, flowers and plants.
