Objects, documents, photos and files narrate a significant part of the country’s civil engineering development and the path of the catarinese businessman Bernardo Monteverde, who always brought together humanitarian values throughout his career. Among the constructions done by his company, the following stand out: the building of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, shelters and bridges on the Itatiaia National Park (RJ) and the Cuiaba Airport (MT), as well as many offices for Banco do Brasil in several cities such as Itabuna (Bahia) e Conselheiro Lafaiete (MG) among others.
