Curtirio is a company focusing on the qualification and training in the areas of climbing, mountaneering and vertical rope techniques and is an operator of itineraries in moutainous environments. It first opened in 1999 and it is registered under the Tourism Ministry. The classes are approved by the Mountaneering Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and by the Association of Professional Climbing Instructors and Guides of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the entity responsible for certifying mountaneering professionals in Brazil.
