Praça Tiradentes is the house of the new Centro Sebrae de Referência do Artesanato Brasileiro (CRAB), or Benchmark Sebrae Center of Brazilian Handicrafts, an institution which goal is to value and qualify this activity throughout the country, promoting cultural reflection and bringing the sellers closer to the customers. Apart from displaying the Brazilian arts and crafts in all its diversity, the new place also houses an auditorium for debates and seminars, a concept store, and a restaurant that serves typical dishes of the Brazilian gastronomy.
Standing out in the old mansion, there are four terracotta statues (two originals and two replicas) from the 19th century that are 2.10 meters tall and represent wisdom, medicine, industry, and agriculture. Throughout the year, CRAB willh offer around three exhibitions.
