The Caixa Cultural Rio de Janeiro is located in Caixa’s headquarters, on Almirante Barroso Avenue, close to the Carioca Subway Station. Opened in 2006, it hosts in its 6000 square-meters an arena theather, two movie theaters, four art galleries, as well as rooms for workshops and rehearsals. The Caixa Cultural has already become a renowned cultural space in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The tradicional Nelson Rodrigues Theather, located at Chile Avenue, is also a part of Caixa Cultural.
