Despite the official address, the access is through Rua do Senado, which provides one of the surprises of the place: as the location is small, a centenarian neighbor in the same property, Armazém Senado, gives it space to the clientele, but most people spread out on the sidewalk, properly accommodated in colorful beach chairs. Lucio Vieira, partner in two other locations on the same street (the Lilia restaurant and the Braseiro Labuta), offers neat “set meals” until 3 pm, as well as appetizers throughout the day. The second list includes oysters (R$ 27, three units), meat croquette (R$ 9) and pork rinds (R$ 24), as well as jiló sandwiches (R$ 18) and ham sandwiches (R$ 24). To drink, there is caipirinha (R$ 18), the “labutonic” drink (R$ 30), made with jambu cachaça, and beer in a 600 ml bottle from the Heineken (R$ 18) and Amstel (R$ 14) labels. On Friday and Saturday, the program is completed with a samba circle in the neighboring Armazém.
