The proximity to the sea, the pleasant atmosphere of the carioca nights and the Brazilian musicality are some of the trademarks of the restaurant Cantô Gastro Lounge. Besides the entrance through the hotel lobby, Cantô also has an entrance on the Lúcio Costa Av., integrating the hotel guests and the locals. The architecture was designed by Arthur Casas and its interior design features shelves and partitions made of natural material – like straw- which, together with the decorated balconies, give the space a pleasant atmosphere. On mornings, Cantô offers a variety of juices and a typical carioca breakfast, with grilled bread and coffee with milk. During lunch time the menu has some light options, like salad and grilled meat, besides some classics of the Brazilian cuisine, recreating and revisiting the flavors and the spices that the carioca loves. The highlights of the lounge are the caipirinhas, the cocktails and the large variety of cachaças, many of which were made in the state of Rio.
