Al Khayam was created in 2001 on Leblon and then it changed locations to the “Corredor Cultural (Cultural Hallway)” of the city, as people call it, near Praça XV, Bolsa de Valores and the Banco do Brasil Cultural centers, the France-Brazil House and the Post Offices. Moufid Hassan commands the place, keeping the palate and family tradition left by his father from the Restaurant Safita in Glória. Don’t forget to try the Grilled Lamb Ribs with mint sauce, rice with lentils and Fattoush salad.
