Lapa is a neighborhood in the city center full of bars, restaurants and nightclubs for all tastes. Known as the “cradle” of bohemian Rio, it is also famous for its architecture. The Carioca Aqueduct (Arcos da Lapa), for example, is its main reference and postcard. Since 1896, it serves as a route for the tram that connects the city center to the Santa Teresa district.

At night, everything changes in Lapa, and the neighborhood becomes an electrifying place, where the most diverse musical tribes live in harmony. Intellectuals, artists, politicians and all the people of Rio de Janeiro go there to celebrate samba, forró, choro, electronic music, funk, rock and all musical trends, mainly in concert halls such as Circo Voador and Fundição Progresso, which attract people from all over Brazil and the world.
