The place hosts the visual arts galleries of Segio Milliet, Lygia Clark and Macunaima, as well as another one specifically for photographs. The establishment also has the Gilberto Freyre auditorium with 380 seats where music concerts, courses, lectures, seminars and audio-visual projections take place. The Funarte Sidney Miller room, with 230 seats, has MPB (Brazilian Pop Music) spectacles. Funarte brings together, in its Documentation Center, approximately a million of items about visual and graphical arts, music, photographs, theater, dance, opera circus, cinema and video. These documents preserve, in the most varied ways, the cultural memory of the country regarding Brazilian Cultural landmarks.
