Opened in 1970, Arnaudo Gomes de Souza’s bar is a traditional place in Santa Teresa. On the simple hall, there are paintings by the Chilean artist Selarón and shelves filled with cachaça bottles. Typical Northeastern dishes, such as sun-dried meat with cassava, are the place’s specialty. To accompany the food, there are cachaças such as Marimbondo and Olho d’Água.
