The restaurant has an entire chapter devoted to two-people servings of Bacalhau (Cod Recipes). There are fifteen options, the flagship being the Lagareiro (roasted cod steaks with onions, roasted potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers, garlic, parsley and olives) and the Narciso (cod steaks, roasted on charcoal, braised in olive oil with garlic, onions, parsley, and bell peppers and served with a side of smashed potatoes). Regarding desserts, the highlight is the Natas do Céu pastry, made of a layer of eggs, cream of egg whites and cookie crumble.
The visual and sound of the environment also take you straight to Portugal. The tiles, the Vista Alegre plates and even a Portuguese guitar make up the landscape. In the background, the soundtrack of Portuguese music guides the sensorial journey. The first room, named D. João VI hall has 78 seats and houses the beautiful wine cellar and bar. The second floor, named Dom Pedro I hall has 32 seats and the Portuguese articles share the attention with the panoramic view of the Lagoa. The wine cellar is another highlight. 100% Portuguese, with 210 labels from the most famous regions of the country, ranging from the Vinhos Verdes to the full-bodied Douro and Alentejo, including the fortified wines Madeira and Porto. And, of course, the menu
includes the typical Ginginha, Macieira and Bagaceira Neto Costa.
