Special attention to the Ancho Steak (a marbled cut from the tip of the sirloin), the Chorizo Steak (cut from the sirloin with a layer of fat), and Ojo de Bife (a thick cut from the heart of the sirloin). To accompany them, order the vegetables roasted a la parrilla (served with chimichurri sauce), batatas bravas (French fries with red onions and red bell peppers, bacon and Tabasco mayonnaise), or the farofa with caramelized onion and banana.
Don’t skip the starters! The traditional empanadas can be found in the styles: “Criolla” (sweet and sour meat, egg, olives, and raisins), “Salteña” (made with minced beef, potato, bell peppers, and pepper), and the Lamb one (stuffed with meat that’s been cooked for five hours in its own gravy). For dessert, choose from the dulce de leche pancake (filled and served with special “crème” ice cream), and “Martin Fierro” (traditional Argentinian guava paste with cheese)
