The Games card will work on municipal buses of the City of Rio de Janeiro (except special and/or executive buses), BRT, subway, train and LRV. The card is sold in three different options: for one day (R$ 25), three days (R$ 70), and seven days (R$ 160) consecutives. The day of the use begins with the first validation of the card on the chosen means of transportation, and ends at 11:59pm of the same day, with two hours of tolerance after the end of the day it’s been used. The purchase can be made online (www.riocard.com/jogosrio2016) or at selling machines and RioCard stores around the city (check the list of outlets on the website).
