The Teatro Popular (Popular Theater) is one of the constructions that is part of the Niemeyer Path and it, together with the Contemporary Art Museum (MAC), makes up the cultural and touristic complex of the city of Niterói that was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, and it is the second largest architectonic complex being built in the Americas. The Teatro Popular is a fundamental part of the complex, and its program goes beyond theater, as it is also a place where it is possible to get in touch with all art forms, with music, photography, dancing, painting, leisure activities and theater all together in a single place.
