Fonte Rio operates in the property where the iconic and unforgettable Casa da Matriz operated for 20 years, a true temple of alternative and indie nightlife in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro. After the closure of Casa da Matriz, in 2020, due to the Covid pandemic, a group of producers came together led by producer and DJ Beto Artista and managed to rent the house and reopen the property, naming the new venture Fonte Rio The idea was to drink at the FONTE of Rio’s alternative nightlife. Because the SOURCE is above all culture!

Fonte is a bar that has two floors. On the first floor there is a lounge with a bar, stage and space for bands and DJs to perform. On the second floor there is a common area, with pool, foosball, ping pong, retro video games and tables and chairs for chatting. In addition to a large screen for showing short films and animations.
