The Sorvete Brasil opened its plant in 2002 in the Central de Abastecimento do Estado da Guanabara (CADEG). Handcrafted, the ice cream do not have hydrogenated fats, dyes or preservatives. The Rio’s network has over 60 choices of flavors, from the classics to the figs with nuts, cupuaçu, piña colada, mulberry and apricot light. The ice cream has been awarded a few times by specialized magazines.
