Famous for its pastel de feijoada (fried pastry filled with traditional black beans) – besides the traditional version of the feijoada – Bar do Mineiro, in Santa Teresa, also offers dishes such as dry-cured beef with pumpkin, served with rice, beans, and collard greens, besides appetizers like beans and cabidela chicken. To drink, always cold bottled beers and over 20 labels of cachaça. Among the homemade desserts are Romeu e Julieta (cheese and guava paste) and dulce de leche with cheese. In terms of decoration, walls are covered with tiles, what grants the bar the appearance of a typical carioca bar.
