With an old grocery store feel, the bar holds spontaneous samba meetings organized by its clients and that is the exact reason why there is no schedule to be followed. They have neither specific date nor time to happen. Fortunately, however, feijoada (black beans stew with pork cuts) does: every Saturday, beginning at 13h50. The kind nickname of Cardosão follows the bar for over 50 years. The familiar environment grants a suburban tone to the bucolic corner of Rio’s South Zone.
