For the adventurers that like to be recompensed with a fantastic view after a good trail, there’s 1,5 kilometers of the rout that starts at Praia Vermelha, walk through Claudio Coutinho track and it finishes at Urca ridge hill. It’s about 40 minutes alternating between steep hills and flat stretches that takes to an amazing panorama of Guanabara bay. – from Botafogo cove to Flamengo landfill -, going through South beaches to downtown, Santos Dumont airport, Ilha do Governador until Niterói beach. The trail is considered slight and easy.

After admiring all these areas of the wonderful city, it’s possible to buy tickets for the cable car and to move up even more to Sugar loaf, such as doing the inverse way and go back to Praia vermelha. If necessary, the hint is to dive to refresh after a long day in the sun.
